About Dr. Zhang: Dr. Zhang obtained her medical degree from Beijing Medical University and did her postdoctorate training at the University of Southern California. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Brown Medical School affiliated hospitals in Providence, Rhode Island. She gained extensive experience in the field of Internal Medicine working as an attending physician at Labey Clinic in Boston and Baylor-Methodist Primary Care Associates, Houston.
The desire to pursue specialty training led her to the beautiful Seattle area, where she completed her Medical Oncology fellowship at the University of Washington/Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. During her training, she was the Principal Investigator of a clinical trial in the treatment of hematological malignancy.
Dr. Zhang is board-certified in Medical Oncology. She is a member of several medical societies and has multiple publications in major medical journals. She is interested in the full spectrum of Medical Oncology and Hematology.
Patient Care Philosophy: Dr. Zhang believes in the state-of-the-art medical care delivered with compassion. Being diagnosed with cancer is a life-changing event. She believes her patients deserve the best of care and support every step of the way during their journey.
Personal Interests: Dr. Zhang and her husband, also a physician, live in Bellevue with their three children. She loves the outdoors, music and reading.
